Today: quiz on chapter relating to interviews.Over the next few days each student will conduct and write two interviews. The first is with an assigned classmate. After the quiz today, you should write seven potential questions. These will serve as starting points for getting to know your subject. Make sure you have no more than one (if any) est question; as well, all questions should be open-ended (no yes or no responses). These are due at the end of class today.
To conduct your interview. This should take two days: Thursday and Friday. Have your questions ready and be prepared to take notes, albeit make these short hand responses for you to expand on. Find a corner or take a walk with this person. Let the individual do most of the talking. On the next day: switch up.
Now organize your notes. Have you an introduction? Think in literary terms. setting? character? tone? dialogue?
